Trail buys land to enhance planned Riverfront Centre

The planned Riverfront Centre library-museum in Trail will be an even better project.

This from city officials as they announce another land purchase. They’re acquiring the property on Bay Avenue adjacent to the site where the new centre will go.

This $90,000 purchase gives the city flexibility on more parking , green space or even new commercial options. A building on the newly acquired lot will first need to be demolished .

The library museum lot is where the old Eagles building was – which was also demolished.
