Snowmobile fatalaties named

The BC Coroners Service is confirming the names of the couple who died in that snowmobile crash in rural Nakusp this week.

They were 27 year old Calvin White of Slocan Park and 29 year old Elise Hansen of Winlaw.

They were on an unplowed forestry road near the Nakusp Hot Springs Sunday night when they collided with a tree that had fallen horizontally across the road. They were found by hikers the next day.

A memorial service will be held at Winlaw Community Hall Sunday at 11am
