The driver of a snow removal truck in Castlegar has been given a hefty fine after crashing into stopped vehicle.
RCMP say on Monday afternoon the truck went into the back of the vehicle at Columbia and 9th Street.
The 68 year old driver was taken to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the snow removal truck has been charged with following too closely and speeding relevant to conditions.
That totals almost $280 in fines.
