Trail delighted to get Rossland support for KBRH road grant

A Trail city councillor is reacting to news Rossland will endorse their grant application for funding towards a second access road to Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital.

Robert Cacchioni says it is excellent news the Alpine City is supporting their call to the Federal government for monies.

Rossland is asking in return that the Silver City endorse their application to the same funding pool for grants to restore Washington Street – which they say would effectively improve the regional sewer service.

Cacchioni admits he wasn’t aware of Rossland’s counter request and says council will have to discuss that issue as a whole.
