Grand Forks RCMP investigate baseball bat attack

RCMP in Grand Forks have a person of interest after a man was attacked with a baseball bat.

The man was walking Sunday morning when he passed an unknown man near the Selkirk College campus.

The suspect then turned around and followed the victim who tried to confront the other man but fell in the snowbank and then was hit multiple times with the bat.

Staff Sgt Jim Harrison says the suspect is described as about five foot 10, in his 20’s,and wearing a hooded sweater with a pattern on it.

Harrison is asking anyone with information to contact RCMP.
