Time for dog bylaw change:Nelson business owner

A downtown business owner in Nelson is hoping the new council will be the ones to settle the dog bylaw issue one way or the other.

Noreen Lynas owns Cotton Creek Clothing.

She was part of the business community push for a trial-run relaxation of the dog ban last year but it didn’t happen.

Then-councillor Deb Kozak tried to bring the trial idea to the council table but she did not get any political support.

As the new mayor she’s now expected to get that support from several new councillors.
