Close but no Superbowl cigar for local film-maker

Close but no cigar for a local film-maker in the biggest TV advertising stage on earth.

The winner of the Doritos Crash the Superbowl contest is the team that produced the ad about the guy in the middle seat in the air plane.

Nelson LVR grad Corby Martin and creative partner Devon Ferguson made the list of ten finalists.

Martin says they’re disappointed they didn’t win the million dollar prize but says the exposure was amazing.

Their commercial was about the guys sneezing into their chips.

The second prize in the contest -the ad about the flying pig – went to two Lower Mainland producers.
