Search for missing Slocan woman set to resume

RCMP hope to resume ground and air searches for a missing Slocan woman within the next week or so.

63 year old Victoria Aguilar was last seen a month ago walking a few blocks from her home.

Despite extensive efforts to find her no trace has yet turned up.

But Slocan Lake Constable Bill McKenna says they’ll try again once the snow has melted a bit more.

He says there’s nothing to suggest she left the area.
