Trail wants different community garden location

Trail city council supports a local organization’s idea for a Community Garden…just not the place they want to put it.

Incredible Trail – a sub-committee of the local Communities in Bloom branch – proposed to put the resident-run plots on Rossland Avenue near Piazza Colombo Park.

Corporate Administrator Michelle McIsaac says the price tag would exceed $15,000.

She adds the city has discussed a few other options for the garden and will work with the group to find the best location for both sides.
