Rossland library not happy with funding cut

Disappointing and disheartening.

That’s the reaction from the Rossland Library to a proposed cut in their funding.

In one of several belt -tightening moves by council the facility will get almost 3% less than last year.

Library Chair Chris D’Odorico says it will mean cutting hours, and it’s also a knock to the volunteer goals of renovating the building.

Rossland council has to make cuts across various departments and community groups in light of their big budget deficit.
