The old Extra Foods building in Nelson is a thing of the past.
Crews worked over the weekend to carefully remove the remaining heavy wood roof supports.
The site will soon be the scene of a large excavation for the foundation and parking area for the new Nelson Commons multi-use residential and retail development.
