Rossland Museum revamp by 2017?

The Rossland Museum now has a time-line for its initial revitalization goals.

Director Joelle Hodgins says they plan to have two of their main projects ready for the summer of 2017.

…the Mining Experience attraction will be an exciting indoor recreation of the real-life tour they used to offer.

The two initial phases will cost about $1 million and Hodgins says they’re not seeking money from taxpayers.

A fund-raising campaign will start in the coming months and the bulk of the funds would come from grants.
