A rude and potentially dangerous intrusion into a home on Nelson’s north shore Tuesday night.
RCMP say the resident woke to a rustling sound. He checked out of his bedroom door and saw a small black bear cub in the corner of his kitchen looking back at him!
He climbed out of a window and called police. An officer responded , scared off a mother black bear which was outside but the cub wasn’t spotted.
A screen on a side door had been pulled out by a bear.
