Nelson Compassion club ecstatic with court ruling

The Director of the Nelson Compassion Club is ecstatic about the new Supreme Court ruling on medical marijuana.

Phillip McMillan is speaking after the country’s highest court decided that it violated Canadians’ liberties to restrict medical marijuana to its “dried” form only. The definition now includes cannabis infused edibles, oil and tea.

McMillan says marijuana is a very individualistic experience and many patients get a lot of beneficial effects from eating cannabis.

He adds Canadians and the courts seem to be on the same page when it comes to marijuana – now its just time for the Conservative government to get on board.
