The Kootenay Lake Partnership will hold a series of open houses on its new shoreline guidance document.
Chair Heather Leschied says it provides direction for certain development activities.
She says the intent is to allow common, low-risk activities to proceed with minimal oversight.
Higher-risk activities would be required to protect fish and wildlife and cultural values.
