The installation of universal water meters in Balfour will be handled by an Ontario company.
The Regional District of Central Kootenay has awarded the $71,000 job to Diameter Services of Pickering.
The same company was responsible for developing a plan in 2015 to implement metering.
It’s one of the conditions of the community receiving a major infrastructure grant.
