Highway 6 on the Arrow Lake is re-opening today after a tricky and expensive fix.
It was closed near the Needles Ferry dock February 18th after a land-slide ripped things up .
Here’s District Highways Manager Hugh Eberle.
The repair cost about $500,000
They had to dig about 20 feet down but the base has been brought back up to the original alignment.
It will have a gravel surface initially and Eberle says it will be able to handle the heavy loads it used to take before the collapse.
