Crescent Valley Beach: parking v environment

The plans to bring parking to the Crescent Valley Beach park will be in two phases.

This from Area Director Walter Popoff who hopes to have a small paved lot ready this fall, followed by a bigger lot next year.

Attention is being paid to the environment.

Crescent Valley Beach is very popular in summer and parking is needed for public safety.

Popoff says the draft management plan for the park is all about balancing park use and impacts on the environment.
