Kaslo waste station re-opening July 31st

The RDCK will reopen the Kaslo transfer station on Friday July 31st.

The facility has been closed since June 15th due to construction as part of the Regional District’s 2010 Resource Recovery Plan.

Once the Kaslo station is operating again, construction upgrades will start on the Balfour Transfer station which is expected to last til October 2nd.

To minimize disruption to the public during the construction period at the Balfour site the RDCK will install temporary facilities adjacent to the transfer station gate so that residents have access to basic disposal and recycling services.
