Nelson business retention-expansion project

The Nelson and Area Economic Development Partnership is once again trying to improve the lives of local business owners.
The organization has started its 2015 Business Retention and Expansion project.

Community Futures Executive Director Andrea Wilkey says a lot has been accomplished since the last study was conducted in 2010.

Wilkey notes the Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism Association was also created after the last study.

150 business owners will be interviewed this year and the study should be complete by the fall.
