After the weekend rains we’re back into rising wildfire danger.
BC’s Chief Fire Information Officer Kevin Skrepnek says our Southern Interior Region will be one of the parts of the province they’ll be paying special attention to.
That’s because on Friday the temperature is set to hit 37 degrees and the humidity percentage will be below 20 %.
Parts of the province are already heading back towards “extreme” wildfire risk.
A complete fire ban remains in place throughout our region including camp fires.
