The Grand Forks Airport will get $45, 000 in provincial funding to install new LED beacons.
Boundary Similkameen MLA Linda Larson says it will replace existing solar-powered beacons.
Larson notes Grand Forks is the only airport between Kelowna and Cranbrook that can do night medevac flights.
The money comes from something called the BC Air Access Program.
