What makes the Trail bridge so costly?

Trail CAO David Perehudoff explains some of the issues with the received tender of over $15 million for the proposed Trail pedestrian – pipe bridge.

Trail was able to secure $4.2-million in funding from the RDKB for the shared sewer portion of the bridge. But the city would have had to raise over $11.5-million had they gone through with the project.
