The new provincial paramedicine program has had some teething problems but it’s going to be a very good thing.

Paramedics will get the training to join existing primary health care teams in serving clients at home in rural areas.
Whittleton says nurses and paramedics have different work rules but everyone is coming to the table to make it a success.
The Kootenay Boundary will have their paramedicine personnel in place by late in the year although specific rural communities have yet to be confirmed.
