Have you seen this wheel chair?

An expensive wheel chair has gone missing from Nelson’s Kootenay Lake Hospital and they’d like it back.

Nelson police say it vanished about two weeks ago.

It costs $1,200 and was bought with funds raised by the Hospital Auxilliary volunteers.

It’s possible it was taken on a so-called “joy ride” or by someone who used it to take someone home but then never returned it .

Police say they can assist in getting the wheel chair back to the hospital if anyone knows where it is.
