Nelson Police are investigating after allegations of a robbery at gun point.

It happened in Uphill late Sunday night.

They received a 911 call from a man reporting the robbery who added the offenders were following him in a vehicle. NPD quickly located the victim.

The following morning the suspect vehicle had been located in another community and the stolen property recovered. Possible suspects have been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

In another matter a local man was arrested twice in three days for causing issues while intoxicated.

On Friday he was found yelling and swearing at people at the Lakeside soccer fields and then on Monday he stole a bicycle from the same area.
