Work at Old Ferry Landing on hold

The development of a park at the Old Ferry Landing near Creston is temporarily on hold.

Meetings are under way between the RDCK and Creston Diking District, who owns the property, to craft a land park agreement.

Creston Valley Trails Society President, Mary Jayne Blackmore says this will formalize what has already been happening.

Blackmore says one the agreement is in place, the society can move ahead with installing closed vault toilets and appropriate signage.
