New logo for local tourism marketing organisation

Our region’s destination marketing organisation has a new logo.

Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism has ditched the multi-layer mountain and lake pic for a bold embossed style stamp effect.

Executive Director Dianna Ducs says they didn’t need an elaborate design because the new logo will accompany the awesome pictures they’ll have of our area.

The organisation also has a new quirky positioning statement that will be used subtly around their marketing efforts. It reads – ” A place for free spirits and well-rounded squares.”

Nelson Kootenay Lake Tourism is financed by a local accommodation levy charged per room.
