Plans are underway at the Lower Kootenay Band in preparation of an upcoming meeting.
It’s hosting the Ktunaxa Nation’s Annual General Assembly is set for July 19th to 21st.
Chief Jason Louie says both on reserve and off reserve citizens from all four bands will attend.
He says it’s an opportunity to bring everyone up to speed.
Louie says local and provincial elected officials will also be on hand.
