A local group will be handling some maintenance on the Slocan Valley Rail Trail.
Trail Society Director Craig Lawrence says they hope to begin work by Monday.
The society hasn’t done a thinning like this in seven years.
Portions of the trail might be closed while work is ongoing.
Signs will be posted.
