Heddle Road to learn about becoming FireSmart

Residents of a neighbourhood on Nelson’s North Shore will learn about becoming FireSmart tonight.

Local fire departments have organized the meeting for Heddle road and area.

Regional director Tom Newell says land owners can do many things to make their properties more fire resilient.

The meeting is at 7 at the Middle Road commons.
