Leafs gain 3 of 6 points in busy weekend

In the KIJHL yesterday in Grand Forks the Border Bruins beat the Nelson Leafs 7-4 to finish the weekend with a pair of wins.

The Leafs picked up three of six available points over the weekend’s action.

The Beaver Valley Nitehawks took a 4-3 loss at home to Nelson Saturday and fell to the Border Bruins 5-2 Friday in Grand Forks.

The Castlegar Rebels won their only game of the weekend Friday in a 5-4 double-overtime thriller in Nelson.
