Highway 31 rock work completed

A project to stabilize a rock slope on Highway 31 north of Kaslo is now complete.

Over 2,000 square metres of slope were scaled back near Lost Ledge Provincial Park to remove loose rock and debris, and 800 metres of bolts are now installed to secure the rock to the cliff face.

Ned’s Creek Blasting completed the $380,000 contract.
