The chair of the Kootenay Lake school board is paying tribute to their outgoing superintendent.
Jeff Jones recently announced his plan to retire this fall after seven years with the district.
Lenora Trenaman says Jones has many strengths.
Trenaman’s says they expected to have Jones for another year or two.
But they’re glad he’s agreed to stay on until the end of October to help with the transition.
The search is underway for his replacement.
