A teacher at Winlaw Elementary School is being recognized for her efforts to keep students in touch with the environment.
Grade 5 and 6 teacher Linda Out will receive an environmental education excellence award from the Columbia Basin Environmental Education Network.
The award recognizes those who display leadership in encouraging stewardship and sustainability.
