The head of the Nelson District Teachers Association is pleased a deal has been reached on class size and composition.
It will restore contract language stripped by the BC government in 2002.
Paul Boscariol says it’s welcome but he wishes it hadn’t taken such a lengthy legal battle.
Teachers will take a ratification vote later this week with the union recommending acceptance.
Thousands more teachers should be hired by September.
