A settlement has been reached covering the City of Nelson’s CUPE workers including the youth centre.
Local 339 and the city have ratified the new four-year collective agreement which is retroactive to 2016.
Union president Mike Stefiuk says they finally resolved an impasse over the youth centre.
The youth centre only joined the local last year.

They’ll see wage increases of one, one, and 1.5 per cent plus an additional 35 cents per hour starting in 2020.
Other workers get two per cent wage increases on July 1 of each year of the deal plus other improvements.
