Selkirk College has formalized its relationship with a leader in China’s growing ski resort industry.
Hospitality school chair Bob Falle says it’s a memorandum of understanding with Axis Leisure Management.
It’s run by Canadian Justin Downes, who they’ve worked with since 2010.
Falle says China’s ski industry is the fastest growing in the world. It now has more than 500 ski areas.
Selkirk has sent a few students there and would like to partner with a university in Beijing.
