The new Temple of Light at Yasodhara Ashram at Kootenay Bay has reached a major milestone.
Fifty-six pre-fabricated panels that form the petals of the lotus-like structure have been assembled.
Geoff Watts with Nelson’s Spearhead Inc. says they were created without a lot of test-fitting.
The new temple replaces the one that burned in 2014.
Work continues on the deck and entryway.
