Nelson’s age-friendly initiative now has an action plan to make the city more agreeable for seniors.
Priority areas include transportation for medical appointments, snow removal, and affordable housing.
Co-ordinator Corrine Younie presented the plan to city council this week.
More than 160 seniors were surveyed last year to help inform the plan.
