A two-bedroom unit at Nelson Commons has been freed up from the restricted resale program.
It was offered for sale at a 25 per cent discount in lieu of a cash payment to the city’s affordable housing fund.
But project manager Russell Precious says they haven’t been able to find a qualified buyer.
$46,000 will go the city’s housing fund and the same amount to the Commons’ green space project.

Two other one-bedroom units will remain restricted resales.
City council approved the arrangement this week.
Councillor Janice Morrison supported the idea.
She was never comfortable with the idea of the perpetual discount on the unit and is happy the city will now receive cash instead.
