Local painter covers downtown graffiti

A Nelson man is tackling graffiti as his contribution to sprucing up the downtown.

Bill Lelievre has his own painting company and he’s offering his time and materials for free to get rid of the tagging.

He figures things are getting out of hand downtown and he wants it to look better.

Lelievre painted over graffiti on the Medical Arts building and expects to take on the old Nelson Daily News site next.
