Prolific offender arrested again in Nelson

Nelson police are reporting yet another altercation with a well known offender.

They say the 24 year old man threw a rock through the windshield of a vehicle and uttered threats late Tuesday night.

The culprit has had 129 contacts with nelson police in the past three years.

He’s been released on strict conditions and a promise to appear in court.

In another matter a patrol found drugs after stopping a vehicle in a downtown alley Wednesday night.

The 51 year old man and 38 year old woman are known to police.

They were arrested and charged with possession of Fentanyl and methamphetamine. Police discovered neither has a driving licence.
