A scaled back first phase for Nelson’s Hall Street Corridor Project will also involve changes to the intersection at Cedar Avenue.
This will give the City a sense of how things might unfold once later phases are done.
Chief Financial Officer Colin McClure says initially they were going to do Hall Street all the way down to the Community Complex entrance with a possible one-way flow.
But the City hasn’t worked all that out yet.
The first phase – including the creation of an open public space opposite I O D E Park could start in the fall with Council’s approval.
