Soccer benefit planned for Kerry Dyck

Nelson’s soccer community is rallying behind one of its own.

A benefit tournament is planned Saturday for Kerry Dyck who is battling Stage IV lung cancer.

Organizer Rob McRory has known him 30 years.

The tournament starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Lakeside fields and is open to anyone over the age of 16.

You can also take in the burger and beer fundraiser at Jackson’s Hole on Oct. 12.
