Another part of the process towards Trail’s proposed boundary expansion into Area A will be wrapped up in the next week.
Wednesday is the deadline for property owners in Columbia Gardens to provide their consent to the take-over.
And Monday will be the deadline for Trail’s electors to also formally voice any disapproval.
The City’s CAO David Perehudoff says there has been near unanimous consent.
Trail still needs to negotiate some outstanding issues with Teck as the major land owner and address mitigation with the RDKB for the Beaver Valley’s tax base loss.
