The notion of turning parts of rural Nelson into a district municipality is looking less likely.
That according to newly re-elected RDCK Area E director Ramona Faust.
Area E would take on responsibility for roads if it was district whereas the province looks after that now.
Faust has been director since 2008 and defeated Reggie Goldsbury Saturday by a vote of 747 to 370.

She says she’ll have no shortage of work next term.
Among her priorities are a new Blewett boat launch and a children’s hub for the Redfish area.
She adds there are several water systems in her area that need help meeting health regulations.
