Drowsy driving warning from ICBC

ICBC is highlighting the dangers of driving drowsy as we head into the August holiday weekend.

On average, 94 people are injured in 360 crashes in the Southern Interior every BC Day long weekend.

An ICBC survey found an alarming 30% of respondents admitted that they have nodded off while driving.

Yet only 54% of respondents said they think drivers fatigued from long hours of driving have a very serious impact on road safety.
