Happy to be back at Cyswog'n'Fun

There is a certain feeling you get when taking part in the Nelson Cyswog’n’Fun triathlon.
This from Nakusp native and past women’s Olympic course winner Janis Neufeld who will be participating for a fifth time in the race that kicks off at Lakeside Park Sunday.

Neufeld says she trains 20-30 hours a week for the challenge and just recently did the Coeur D’Alene Iron Man in Idaho.

She explains if you have to be addicted to something – being addicted to exercise is a good thing.


Neufeld will compete on the Olympic course that consists of a 1.5 Km swim, biking 39 KM and running 10KM.

The 32nd Cyswog’n’Fun triathlon goes 8AM Sunday – spectators are welcome.
