Nelson-Creston MLA Michelle Mungall will be visiting some West Kootenay communities with information about CleanBC rebate programs. The first stop is today in Kaslo at the Langham from 4:30 to 6:00pm.
The events are an open house where residents can learn about ways to reduce there green house has emissions and save money. For example, “if they want to install a heat pump, or they want to install a more efficient furnace in their home, or they want to upgrade their windows and insulation,” says MLA Mungall. “Or, if they want to get an electric vehicle what kind of programs are there to help them do that.”
Open houses will also be happening in Nelson and Creston later in April.
